Anne Obermeyer
Hi, I’m Anne Elizabeth Obermeyer — a Canadian teacher, author, illustrator and mother, who has always believed in the power of children's literature and storytelling, to spark minds, open hearts, teach language and empower young readers.
It’s been a true privilege to learn so much from my students in over 30 years of teaching and advocating for diverse learners. Their stories, voices, and resilience continue to inspire my work every day.
I believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued — and that belief is at the heart of my picture books. Each story is a heart-felt, character-driven tale celebrating identity, belonging and finding confidence in who you truly are.
